Another great discussion topic was presented today on "People's Perspectives." Thanks for all of the hard work that was put into today's discussion topic. Also, thanks to those members who gave their opinion about the topic. It's always good to hear comments and opinions of members in the Black Awareness Club in order to help shed light on a perspective that may not have thought about before. Great Job!

It's time for our first official Dress For Success Meeting! Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time to wear your best representation of professional dress to school for the entire day. Who will win the contest? Only time will tell.

Way To Go!!

I'm proud to announce that The Black Awareness Club collected a grand total of $167.78 on Friday Oct. 1st 2010 for the Children's Cancer Foundation. You should feel good knowing that helped to play a part in changing someone's life for the better. Thanks to those who donated their money and to Sean, Reggie, Bria, Jennifer, Brooke, Armon, Briana, Khali, Jamal, Maria, Shannon, and Moeez who carried a container around school to collect money. It's amazing what can be done when we pull together! Outstanding job!
